I’m doing it! I’m going to travel the world!!!

I found out that I got accepted to go on the WorldRace! A year long mission trip around the world visiting 11 countries in 11 months. I am so fired up to go. I decided to challenge myself in life and faith to be a disciple of God to the world for a whole year. I’m so thankful to God for leading me to this point in my life and is using me to further spread his Gospel and Kingdom to everyone around the world.. 

If you’ve ever met me then you know I’ve always wanted to travel the world, and now that this opportunity has presented itself to me I am so eager to do it. If you don’t know me I hope to shed a little insight into who I am. My name is Glorianna Saipe. I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I grew up in the church so I was always around the Gospel and people who knew Jesus and talked about Him. I started to really invest in my personal relationship with the Lord in gr. 11. Before that I never really knew what it meant to have a close personal relationship with Jesus. Soon after I started to view Jesus as my best friend and close confidante who I told anything and everything to. Sure there were rough patches of doubt or where my life got so busy I forgot to spend time with the person who knew me the best and could have helped me in those situations and because of that my life never truly felt fulfilled in those moments. Every time I wavered even a little bit I knew that He would also be right beside me no matter what it helped my relationship deepen and my trust in his promises and strength grow. This is why I want to share with anyone and everyone who will listen. I want to give them the same hope in the darkness that Jesus gave me in the rough patches of life. I want to spread his love to everyone. I want them to know that there is no one who is considered unworthy to Jesus if you only repent of your sins and give your life fully to Him. Your life can only be that much richer with Jesus and His word.

My hobbies include reading, playing music, talking to anyone with an ear to listen and hanging out with friends, journaling, and going on any adventure I can. I love being a part of a community, learning and growing beside them and I’m so excited to join this one and see what I can do to impact the world.

I hope that over the next year and a half you’ll follow along with me on this journey of a lifetime and see how God used me to impact others and them to impact me. I’m so delighted to share my story as I learn and grow through this season of my life. I hope you can laugh, cry, smile, rejoice and pray for and with me throughout this adventure. It is certainly going to be a great and interesting chapter in my life! I am so blessed to be at a point in my life where I feel like I have the freedom and passion to do this wonderful trip. Everything in my life has led me to this point and I’m so excited for what’s in store. I imagine it will be the most challenging and rewarding adventure I’ll probably ever do in my life and I hope I can use the tools and skills I learn in life and on the race to better my life and others around me and help further the Kingdom of God. 

3 months ago I never in my wildest dreams imagined I would get the chance to travel the world with like-minded people and get to experience all the wonders and beauty of the world that God has created for us, but it’s here and I’m not letting my fear of the unknown scare me away from doing what I’ve always wanted to do. All in God’s perfect and wonderful timing! Now the fun begins…fundraising! 🙂
